First off, heat rocks kill snakes. never use a heat rock on a ball python. secondly, ball pythons do not need heat lamps if you are using a plastic container. plastic containers are excellent at holding both heat and humidity (i usually have to turn the temps down and drill extra holes because my problem is too much humidity rather than not. Ok im tight on money right now and my bp really needs a bigger cage so im going to move her into a large rubbermaid. but how would i do this? my main problem is how am i going to heat it? right now she is in a glass tank with a heat lamp so its easy to heat. but how do i heat a rubbermaid?.
